Job summary

Signarama North Lakes is seeking a Sign Writer and Installer to join our team in North Lakes, QLD. This casual, ideally full-time position offers flexibility to showcase your craftsmanship in signage creation and installation for a diverse clientele.

You will create signage at the workshop, install on client premises with precise alignment, operate vinyl cutters and digital printing, prepare surfaces, and liaise with clients while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sign Writer and Installer within the signage industry, including at least some vehicle signage
• Competence with sign writing equipment and installation techniques
• Knowledge of various surface preparation and installation methods
• Excellent attention to detail
• Physical fitness and ability to work at heights where necessary - ideally with a licence to work at heights
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude with a commitment to health and safety standards
• Valid driver's licence and own transport

Responsibilities

• Create signage at the workshop, including partial wraps of vehicles
• Install signage on client premises, ensuring precise alignment, durability and professional finish
• Operate equipment including vinyl cutters and digital printing
• Prepare surfaces through cleaning, priming and other preparatory techniques to ensure optimal adhesion and longevity
• Measure and calculate sizing requirements for bespoke signage projects
• Maintain high standards of quality throughout production and installation
• Liaise with clients
• Ensure all work is completed safely, on time and within time
