Job summary

VFX Print Group in Sydney is seeking a reliable Signboard Finishing Hand for the Afternoon shift (2pm–10:30pm). This casual role supports the finishing team with canvas stretching, stapling, painting, laminating, banner trimming and mounting on timber frames.

You should be comfortable with physical work, able to follow instructions, and have basic carpentry knowledge and experience using power tools. Street parking is available, with access to public transport nearby.

Qualifications

• Experience with using power tools and basic finishing tasks.
• Carpentry knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Stretching and stapling printed canvas of timber frames.

Signboard Finishing Hand – Afternoon Shift

VFX Print Group is a leading Print & Signage company who has been providing premium products and services to the Real Estate industry for over 35 years. As our business continues to grow, we currently have casual positions available for reliable factory/finishing hands to join the Signboard Finishing team.

This is an afternoon shift, working 2pm to 10.30pm.

Number of shifts varies based on demand, weekdays only.

We are looking for honest & reliable people willing to work afternoon shifts.

You will be required to assist the team with stretching and stapling printed canvas of timber frames. Other activities include painting, laminating, banner trimming & mounting.

The successful applicant will have

• the ability to use power tools,
• some carpentry knowledge would be an advantage
• experience in physical work
• ability to follow instructions

Street parking available, alternatively we are located near bus routes, light rail and Lewisham Train Station.

Must have full working rights in Australia (proof required)
