Job summary

Sydney Trains in NSW is seeking a permanent Signals Engineer to join the Signals Engineering team. You will help maintain the integrity, reliability and safe operation of the Signals Network on-site in the Central, North and South regions.

You will provide specialist engineering advice, monitor network performance, support operational and emergency activities, and drive improvements across disciplines. Applicants must have MN S 41412, NSW Class C licence, and aim to obtain Signalling Engineer

Qualifications

  • Engineering experience in signals maintenance, construction or commissioning within an operational environment.
  • Confident communicator with ability to influence stakeholders across teams.
  • High-level knowledge of Signalling manuals and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Part of the Signals Engineering team to maintain the integrity, reliability and safe operation of the Signals Network.
  • Provide specialist engineering advice, monitor network performance and support operational and emergency activities across a complex rail environment.
  • Work across disciplines to manage technical and operational issues and drive improvements to strengthen network reliability.
  • Permanent, full-time opportunity based in the Central, North and South regions with on-site attendance.
  • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of signalling networks.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and across teams.
