Job summary

Powerlift Industries (PLI) is a Pilbara-based, leading service provider to the Mining and Resource sectors. We’re currently seeking experienced Riggers to join our Shutdown Crew across multiple sites, with immediate starts available.

FIFO ex Perth or local to Karratha is supported, with accommodation and meals provided. Requirements include 3+ years rigging experience with 300T cranes, 3+ years mine site exposure, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Rigging experience up to and including 300T cranes (min 3 years).
• Minimum 3 years' mine site experience (mandatory).
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team and follow instructions.
• Prioritises safety and compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform rigging tasks for ongoing projects across sites.
• Maintain high safety standards and follow ISO-aligned procedures.
• Work FIFO or locally from Karratha as required.
• Assist in process improvements and safety initiatives.

If you’re committed to safety, maintaining a clean work environment, and delivering quality outcomes to ISO standards – we’d love to have you on board.

Candidates can either be FIFO ex Perth, or local to Karratha or surrounding areas.

Interstate candidates are not being considered.

ABOUT YOU

• Minimum of 3 years experience rigging up to and including 300T cranes (mandatory)
• Min 3 years' mine site experience (mandatory)
• Able to work autonomously as well in a team
• Able to follow instructions and show initiative
• Ensure that the highest Safety Standards are met
• Safety and process-focused, and willing to input and continually improve the process
• Residents of Karratha and surrounds are highly desired

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid right to work in Australia (mandatory)
• Current Australian drivers licence (mandatory)
• Valid High Risk Work Licence (mandatory)
• Minimum RI qualification (mandatory)
• CN qualification (Highly Preferred)
• Experience operating a Franna (Highly Preferred)
• WAH (mandatory)
• Demonstrate Fire Attack (mandatory)
• White Card (mandatory)
• Rio Tinto Inducted (Highly Preferred)
• Current VOC's (Highly Preferred)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment including a drug and alcohol screening test.
• Ability to gain access to RTIO and similar mine sites
