Job summary

Techforce JobAdder is seeking Experienced Riggers (Intermediate and Advanced) for a major shutdown in North Queensland. This short-term stint offers attractive hourly rates and on-site accommodation.

Immediate starts available for suitable candidates, with 12-hour day and night shifts, Monday to Friday. As a Rigger, you will safely perform rigging during the shutdown, assist lifting and installation of mechanical equipment, and work with skilled maintenance crews while upholding strict safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' rigging experience in shutdowns or heavy industrial environments.
• High Risk Work Licence - Intermediate or Advanced Rigging.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
• Working at Heights (completed within the last 2 years).
• Confined Space (completed within the last 2 years).
• Ability to pass site mobilisation requirements.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Safely carrying out rigging activities during a major power station shutdown.
• Assist with lifting, positioning and installation of mechanical equipment.
• Work with maintenance crews while upholding high safety standards.
