Job summary

Techforce Personnel is seeking Experienced Riggers (Intermediate & Advanced) for a major shutdown in North Queensland. This short-term stint offers excellent hourly rates and on-site accommodation.

Roles require 2 years of rigging experience, a High Risk Licence (Intermediate or Advanced), pre-employment medical, and adherence to strict safety standards. Immediate starts available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' rigging experience in shutdowns, power generation, mining or heavy industrial environments.
• High Risk Work Licence - Intermediate or Advanced Rigging.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
• Working at Heights (completed within the last 2 years).
• Confined Space (completed within the last 2 years).
• Ability to pass site mobilisation requirements.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Safely carry out rigging activities during a major power station shutdown.
• Work alongside maintenance crews to lift, position and install mechanical equipment.
• Maintain the highest safety standards at all times.

About the Role

As a Rigger, you'll be responsible for safely carrying out rigging activities during a major power station shutdown. You'll work alongside experienced maintenance crews, assisting with the lifting, positioning and installation of mechanical equipment while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Both Intermediateand Advanced Riggers are encouraged to apply. A minimum of 2 years' rigging experience within shutdowns, power generation, mining or heavy industrial environments is preferred.
