Trit House on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Showroom Manager to lead our Bundall showroom. You will drive sales, manage a team, and ensure outstanding customer experiences in a hands‑on leadership role.

The role involves on‑floor leadership, staff development, and close collaboration with our design and operations teams to maintain high showroom standards and a premium brand presence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Bundall showroom team.
• Drive showroom sales and help achieve monthly and annual targets.
• Monitor sales activity, quotes, conversion, and follow-up with customers.
• Coach team members with regular feedback, training and support.
• Deliver high standards of customer service and handle escalations.
• Manage showroom roster and day-to-day staffing requirements.
• Maintain showroom presentation and merchandising to brand standards.
• Collaborate with Interior Stylist & Visual Merchandiser on displays and new collections.
• Ensure product knowledge is up-to-date across the team.
• Oversee orders, payments and stock movements from showroom operations.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager, Directors and other showroom teams.
• Ensure company procedures and standards are followed.

Job Description

Trit House is looking for an experienced and motivated Showroom Manager to lead our Gold Coast team. Trit House is a specialist furniture retailer with showrooms across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast, offering a curated range of contemporary furniture, homewares and design‑led brands. Based at our Bundall showroom, this is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for the day‑to‑day performance of the showroom, including sales, team management, customer experience, operations and presentation.

We’re looking for someone who is confident leading a team, commercially minded and passionate about delivering an exceptional showroom experience. You’ll be comfortable driving sales performance while remaining actively involved on the floor, supporting your team and working directly with customers.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading, supporting and developing the Bundall showroom team
• Driving showroom sales performance and working with the team to achieve monthly and annual targets
• Monitoring sales activity, quotations, conversion and customer follow‑up
• Coaching team members and providing regular feedback, training and support
• Delivering a high standard of customer service and assisting with customer concerns and escalations
• Managing the showroom roster and day‑to‑day staffing requirements
• Maintaining a consistently high standard of showroom presentation and merchandising
• Working with our Interior Stylist & Visual Merchandiser on showroom displays, new collections and seasonal updates
• Maintaining strong product and brand knowledge and ensuring the wider team is kept informed and trained
• Overseeing showroom administration, customer orders, payments and stock movements
• Working closely with our Operations Manager, Directors, warehouse and other showroom teams
• Ensuring company procedures and operational standards are consistently followed

About you

• Previous experience managing or leading a retail sales team
• A proven ability to drive sales and work towards commercial targets
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach, motivate and develop a team
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Confidence handling customer concerns and resolving problems
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions independently
• An interest in contemporary furniture, interiors and design
• Experience within furniture, interiors, homewares or premium retail will be highly regarded

The role is full‑time and requires flexibility to work across the showroom's seven‑day trading week, including weekends where required. This is an opportunity to take ownership of an established showroom and lead a knowledgeable sales team within a growing Australian furniture business.
