Job summary

Macmahon is seeking a skilled Underground Shotcrete Operator to spray ground support in our underground mining projects. You will operate shotcrete spraying equipment safely, apply concrete as per designs, and ensure ongoing quality and safety on site.

Responsibilities

• Operate underground shotcrete spraying equipment safely and efficiently.
• Apply shotcrete to specified thickness and quality standards in accordance with ground support designs.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks.
• Monitor shotcrete quality, mix consistency, and application rates.
• Complete pre-starts and report hazards or defects immediately.
• Help teammates, share knowledge and support a strong crew culture.

About the Role

Operate shotcrete spraying equipment underground to install ground support systems, ensuring mine development and production areas remain safe, stable, and compliant with operational and safety standards.
