Rip Curl is seeking a Digital Content Editor to work in Torquay. You will take supplied footage and assets and turn them into polished videos for Instagram, TikTok and other digital sales channels.

This hands-on post‑production role rewards creative editing, strong hooks, pacing and story. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is desired, with an interest in surfing culture and lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Experience editing short-form social and digital advertising content with a strong portfolio.
• Advanced Adobe Premiere Pro skills and a good eye for pacing, captions and typography.
• Understanding of social platforms like Instagram and TikTok and their ad conventions.
• Ability to juggle multiple edits, briefs and deadlines with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Edit and produce high-quality short-form video advertising content.
• Turn raw footage and assets into polished, channel-ready creative.
• Create hooks, pacing, transitions, captions and sound treatments.
• Adapt content for different audiences, placements and campaign objectives.
• Produce cut-downs and variations while maintaining quality.
• Create motion graphics and titles when required.
• Repurpose and optimise master creatives for Instagram, TikTok and other channels.
• Collaborate with Content, Social, Digital and Production teams.
• Use feedback and performance insights to improve future edits.
