Job summary

Thrift Emporium Shops, supporting UnitingCare, invites a Retail Supervisor to join our brand new Capalaba store. You will lead a team of staff and volunteers, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving store performance.

You will manage all aspects of retail operations, oversee pricing, merchandising and promotions, and coach team members to meet sales targets. This role offers $30.66 p/hr, super, NFP salary packaging and a commission program for high performers.

Qualifications

  • Experience in retail management (or hospitality with a retail background).
  • Ability to deliver high level of customer service.
  • Willingness to learn store roles (customer service, visual presentation, online marketing, stock control).
  • Coaching and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of retail operation and help achieve sales targets.
  • Review pricing, visual merchandising and promotions to maintain profitability.
  • Maintain effective communication with team and stakeholders; assist with customer inquiries/complaints.
  • Set objectives, prioritise tasks, and coach direct reports to improve performance.
