Job summary

UnitingCare is seeking a Retail Assistant for our Thrift Emporium in Ormiston (Brand New Store). The role is casual with a pay rate of $34.76 per hour plus super, NFP salary packaging and a commission program for high performers.

You will support merchandising, handle stock takes, and assist customers in a fast-paced retail environment while contributing to our Not‑For‑Profit mission that funds services for older Australians and people facing hardship.

Qualifications

• Passion for retail and a genuine desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build relationships with the local community and understand local needs.
• Capable of self-motivation, initiative and presenting well.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of product merchandising and store presentation.
• Complete inventory management and stock taking.
• Assist customers with enquiries and sales and promote store growth.
