Job summary

AME Marine Co. on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced shipwright/boat builder to join our busy marine refit and repair team at Gold Coast City Marina, Coomera. Immediate start.

You will repair composite vessels, work with vinylester and epoxy resins, and apply gelcoat, timber, and paint as required. A strong team player with good organisation is essential.

Australian Marine Enterprises require a shipwright/boat builder for immediate start in our busy and growing marine refit and repair business located in Gold Coast City Marina, Coomera.

Suiting an experienced tradesperson, this role offers variety and the opportunity to utilise your full skill set.

Those applying for this position should have experience repairing composite vessels. Experience working with vinylester and epoxy resins is essential. Timber, gelcoat, paint, vacuum bagging or infusion experience a bonus, but not essential.

The successful candidate will be required to work as part of our experienced team and be expected to show the organisational skills required to be able to manage allocated jobs efficiently.
