Job summary

Laminex is seeking an experienced Afternoon Shift Supervisor to lead our warehouse team at Tullamarine. This salaried role supports the Afternoon Shift Manager, with starting times varying and a 17.5% loading applied.

Responsibilities include leading daily despatch operations, monitoring productivity and accuracy, ensuring safe loads, coaching staff, and driving improvements across safety, quality and on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, despatch or logistics leadership experience.
• Current forklift licence.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, and WMS.
• Knowledge of warehouse systems, RF scanning, inventory control and load restraint.
• Understanding of OH&S and COR legislation and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Leading daily warehouse and despatch operations.
• Allocating work and monitoring productivity, picking accuracy and team performance.
• Checking completed orders and truck loads before despatch.
• Ensuring loads are accurate, safe and secure before leaving the site.
• Coaching team members and addressing performance concerns or workplace conflict fairly and professionally.
• Investigating picking and loading errors and implementing practical improvements.
• Maintaining strong safety, quality and compliance standards.
• Working with other departments to achieve accurate, on-time deliveries.

We're looking for a confident, hands-on Afternoon Shift Supervisor to support the Afternoon Shift Manager and help lead our warehouse team. This is a salaried position with a 17.5% loading, working in the Afternoon Shift, starting times may vary.

• A current forklift licence is a must.

• Experience in supply chain scheduling, warehouse planning, and analysis.
• Understanding of OH&S and COR legislation and responsibilities.
