Job summary

Zeus Street Greek Australia is seeking a confident Shift Supervisor to lead the team on each shift, ensuring smooth day-to-day restaurant operations, quality, service, safety and cleanliness.

You will coach and motivate staff, manage priorities, handle customer enquiries, and support opening/closing, inventory checks, and cash handling in a fast-paced QSR environment. This role offers growth within the brand and a vibrant team culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality, QSR or retail.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to train, coach and motivate team members.
• Solid understanding of food safety and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the team during your shift.
• Supervise performance and provide coaching and feedback.
• Ensure food, service and safety standards are met.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Support opening and closing procedures as required.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with basic inventory control.
• Assist with cash handling, POS procedures and basic reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and WHS policies.
• Communicate shift performance to management.

Shift Supervisor Responsibilities

All Team Member and Team Member Trainer responsibilities, plus:

• Lead and coordinate the team during your shift

• Support opening and closing procedures as required
• Monitor stock levels and assist with basic inventory control

• Communicate effectively with management regarding shift performance
