Job summary

Zeus Street Greek on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a confident Shift Supervisor to lead the team on shift, ensure smooth operations and uphold food quality, safety and service standards.

You will coach and motivate staff, manage customer inquiries, assist with opening/closing, maintain stock, and collaborate with management to drive performance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality, QSR or retail.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to train, coach and motivate team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the team during your shift.
• Supervise performance and provide coaching.
• Ensure food, service and safety standards are met.
• Handle customer enquiries professionally.
• Support opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory.
• Assist with cash handling and POS reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with WHS and company policies.
• Communicate shift performance with management.

About the Role

As a Shift Supervisor, you are responsible for leading the team during your shift and ensuring smooth day-to-day restaurant operations. You will be a hands‑on leader who supports, coaches and motivates the team, while maintaining high standards of food quality, customer service, safetyand cleanliness.

Shift Supervisor Responsibilities

All Team Member and Team Member Trainer responsibilities, plus:

• Lead and coordinate the team during your shift
• Supervise team performance and provide coaching and feedback
• Ensure all food, service and safety standards are consistently met
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner
• Support opening and closing procedures as required
• Monitor stock levels and assist with basic inventory control
• Assist with cash handling, POS procedures and basic reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with food safety, WHS and company policies
• Communicate effectively with management regarding shift performance

Shift Supervisor Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality, QSR or retail
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills
