Job summary

Steelcraft Framing is seeking a Production Supervisor to translate the daily plan into finished frames across two shifts. You will report to the Production Manager, set shift rhythm, and drive on-time delivery while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will lead two Team Leaders, coach the floor, and ensure machine uptime with maintenance support. Strong leadership and commitment to 5S and efficient material flow are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising teams in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and interpret production orders and drawings.
• Strong accountability for safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Capable of coaching Team Leaders to meet standards without direct micromanagement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the daily production plan across frames and stock items, on time and in full.
• Lead two Team Leaders and their assembly teams, setting expectations and enforcing standards.
• Maintain WHS on the floor, conduct toolbox talks, identify hazards and ensure PPE compliance across all shifts.
• Uphold First-Time-Right quality for rigidity, welds and overall workmanship.
• Support machine care and uptime with the Maintenance Fitter to keep roll-formers running.
• Coordinate material flow with Yard, Stores and Dispatch to avoid downtime.
• Perform structured shift handovers and initiate root cause analysis for recurring issues.
