Job summary

Pact Packaging in Sydney is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee the production hall on the designated shift. You will report to the Manufacturing Manager and work closely with the Site Quality Officer to ensure safe, compliant and efficient operations.

Responsibilities include leading the shift team, allocating tasks, monitoring performance, ensuring equipment safety, conducting quality checks, coordinating maintenance, managing waste and downtime, and maintaining accurate production records

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in high-volume production.
• Technical or trade qualification in manufacturing, engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the shift production team to achieve safety, quality and targets.
• Allocate daily tasks and monitor production performance.
• Ensure machines operate safely and within specification.
• Conduct product quality checks and address non-conformances.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and respond to issues.
• Monitor waste and downtime and take corrective action.
• Maintain accurate production records and shift handovers.
• Ensure compliance with WHS, Food Safety, Quality and BMS.
