Job summary

Pact Group Holdings Ltd. is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee production hall activities on the designated shift, reporting to the Manufacturing Manager and working with the Site Quality Officer.

You will lead a production team, allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure safe, compliant, and efficient machinery operation while driving quality checks and documenting production records.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or coordinating teams in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes, equipment operation, and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to monitor quality standards and address non-conformances.
• Working knowledge of WHS, Food Safety, Quality, and Environmental requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
• The ability to prioritise tasks and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience coordinating maintenance activities and responding to operational issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Competent computer and reporting skills, with experience maintaining production records.
• Flexibility to manage changing production priorities, rostering, and overtime requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the shift production team to achieve safety, quality, and production targets.
• Allocate daily tasks and monitor production performance.
• Ensure machines operate safely, efficiently, and within specification.
• Conduct product quality checks and address non-conformances.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and support breakdown resolution.
• Monitor waste, downtime, and operational issues, taking corrective action as required.
• Complete accurate production records and shift handovers.
• Ensure compliance with WHS, Food Safety, Quality, and Business Management System requirements.
