Allied Pinnacle Pty Ltd is a leading milling, manufacturing and distributor of flour-based food products, with over 100 years of industry expertise. We are seeking Shift Production Engineers to support our mills at multiple sites across Australia, full-time and permanent.

The role focuses on planning, directing and coordinating performance and maintenance of the mill to meet company and customer expectations, including GMP and WHS compliance, with collaboration across Quality Control and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 2 years’ proven experience in a similar role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Commitment to safe, efficient and productive operations.
• Hands-on experience with various equipment.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Effective communication for coordinating with team and reporting production activities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate and maintain milling equipment to ensure optimal performance and product quality in compliance with established standards.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production and continuous improvement goals.
• Conduct routine maintenance, repair equipment faults, install machinery and complete fabrication tasks.
• Monitor and manage grist quality and blend formulation to ensure consistent, high-quality product output.
• Follow production plans and monitor throughput to meet production targets while optimising resources.
• Forecast production of by-products and generate reports for resource planning.
• Conduct regular testing of wheat, maize and flour to meet quality standards.
• Complete CCP and quality checks with accurate documentation.
• Follow WHS procedures and report safety issues to maintain a safe environment.
• Work with Quality Control, Maintenance and Operations to achieve shared goals.
