Job summary

ACCIONA in Perth, Australia, seeks a Shift Team Leader to guide Operations on a 24-hour shift. You will lead the team, drive performance, and ensure health, safety and efficiency while maintaining plant availability and reliability. This role deputises for the Operations Manager when required.

Key requirements include a Boiler/STG ticket, substantial renewable energy or waste management experience, and proven leadership of multiple operational teams. Strong Excel skills are desired.

Qualifications

Boiler and STG operating ticket.
Experience in renewable energy or waste management sectors.
5+ Thermal Energy Operations or equivalent industry experience.
5+ leading operational teams.
Strong to Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the Operations team and drive high performance with focus on plant availability.
Mentor Operations personnel to improve individual and team performance and ensure adequate resources.
Ensure site compliance with all contractual and performance obligations.
Support Asset management and maintenance to complete tasks within agreed timeframes.
Collaborate with Shift Teams to develop and implement strategic Operations plans.
