Job summary

Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen is seeking a Shift Leader to guide the team during busy service, uphold food safety standards and ensure high-quality guest experiences. You will coach staff, coordinate shift coverage and drive continuous improvement in service and operations.

Applicants should have experience leading in fast-paced environments and be willing to obtain food safety and alcohol-service certifications as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising a team within a busy environment.
• Completed or willingness to complete Food Safety Supervisor certificate.
• Completed or willingness to undertake Responsible Service of Alcohol course.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team during peak trade periods and motivate staff on shift.
• Champion food safety and quality standards on the floor.
• Coach and train crew to improve service and guest experience.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and shift planning.

The Shift Leader is responsible for effectively leading the team during specific periods of trade and motivating and engaging the team on shift, by championing our food safety and food quality standards. You will be leading the team through busy service periods, crew training and proactively improving guest experience.

• Experience leading or supervising a team within a busy environment
