Job summary

Guzman y Gomez in Sydney is seeking a Shift Leader to guide, coach and motivate a busy crew during afternoon to closing shifts, ensuring excellent guest experiences and strict food safety standards.

You will lead the team, manage daily operations, deliver outstanding service, and support senior leaders in maintaining quality and efficiency. We offer flexible rosters, training, and clear career pathways along with a fun, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Leadership and supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service.
• Willingness to complete Food Safety Supervisor certificate if not already held.
• Willingness to undertake Responsible Service of Alcohol course if not already completed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate the team to deliver outstanding guest experiences while upholding food safety and quality standards.
• Manage afternoon to closing shifts (up to 11:30pm) and ensure smooth operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support guests throughout their visit.
• Assist in training and developing crew members to maintain high standards and efficiency.
