Job summary

Norco Co-Operative Limited is seeking a Shift Maintenance Fitter to join our 24/7 dairy manufacturing site at Labrador. You will be responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance as part of the site maintenance team, on a 7-day roster to cover 24/7 operations.

The role requires experience in a food manufacturing environment, strong fault-finding skills, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. Experience with packaging machinery and machine installations is highly regarded, with a focus

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and flexible Shift Maintenance Fitter to join our team at the milk manufacturing site in Labrador. In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing delivery of preventative and corrective maintenance as part of the factory’s maintenance team. The roster is 7 days to provide coverage to the 24/7 site operations.

This is a full-time, permanent position that requires the ability to work a flexible 24 hour roster, and take part of the new and exciting project work at site.

We are looking for someone with:

• Prior experience in a food manufacturing environment (highly regarded)
• Engineering and fault‑finding skills
• A strong sense of urgency and can complete tasks in a timely manner
• A proactive and diligent attitude
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience with packaging machinery
• Experience with machine installations
• An understanding of food manufacturing processes and hygiene requirements
