Norco, Australia's oldest and largest dairy co-operative, is seeking a Shift Maintenance Fitter for our Labrador site. You will deliver preventative and corrective maintenance as part of a 24/7 maintenance team, with a roster spanning seven days.

The role offers full-time, permanent employment with strong safety and development opportunities. Ideal candidates have food manufacturing exposure, strong fault-finding skills, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and flexible Shift Maintenance Fitter to join our team at the milk manufacturing site in Labrador. In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing delivery of preventative and corrective maintenance as part of the factory’s maintenance team. The roster is 7 days to provide coverage to the 24/7 site operations.

This is a full-time, permanent position that requires the ability to work a flexible 24 hour roster, and take part of the new and exciting project work at site.

We are looking for someone with:

• Prior experience in a food manufacturing environment (highly regarded)
• Engineering and fault-finding skills
• A strong sense of urgency and can complete tasks in a timely manner
• A proactive and diligent attitude
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience with packaging machineryExperience with machine installations
• An understanding of food manufacturing processes and hygiene requirements
