Job summary

Austube Mills in Queensland, part of InfraBuild, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team at the Acacia Ridge site. You will contribute to reliable operations by performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing breakdowns, and overhauling fixed plant.

You should hold a trade qualification as a Fitter and Turner, with crane and forklift tickets desirable, and industrial experience preferred.

Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor and based at ourAcacia Ridge site, you will join a reliable and experienced maintenance team with the support and autonomy to manage breakdown and preventative maintenance activities across the site. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Fitter seeking a stable and secure role offering long‑term career opportunities and the chance to make a valued contribution to our operations.

• Rotating 12-hour shifts – Day (6am–6pm) & Night (6pm–6am)
• Monday to Friday with overtime options
• 3-week cycle:
  • 2 days & 2 nights / 4 off
  • 3 days on / 2 off
  • 3 nights on / 4 off

• Preventative maintenance
• Breakdowns and troubleshooting issues
• Overhauling fixed plant or equipment
• Compliance with quality and safety processes
