Job summary

Drac Mechanical in Pakenham, Victoria, seeks a skilled Sheetmetal Worker to join our production team. You will fabricate components for acoustic enclosures, and operate guillotines, press brakes, rollers, and related sheetmetal machinery to exact specifications.

Ideal candidates are trade-qualified or have substantial sheetmetal experience, with strong attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to read engineering drawings and weld to WPS standards.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Sheetmetal Worker or significant relevant experience.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Fabricating sheetmetal components from mild steel and stainless steel.
• Operating guillotines, press brakes, rollers, and other sheetmetal machinery.
• Assembling and fitting components to meet engineering drawings and specifications.
• Working to Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS) and engineering drawings.
• Participating in weld testing and qualifications as required.
• Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
