Job summary

Trans Vent in Penrith, NSW is seeking a Sheetmetal Apprentice to join the team. This full-time apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in manufacturing air conditioning fittings from light gauge metal with some welding.

The role supports production and repair of light metal products, with training through a mix of on-the-job learning and TAFE theory, culminating in a Nationally recognised Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication (Sheet metal). Mentoring is provided throughout the program.

Qualifications

• Must have a willingness to learn and genuine interest in the industry.
• Hardworking and reliable.
• Safety conscious and able to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in production, manufacture and repair of light metal products.
• Measure, cut and bend materials using hand and power tools.
• Learn correct safety practices.
• Support experienced sheet metal workers on various projects.
