Job summary

ASSA ABLOY is seeking a Production Team Member / Sheet Metal Worker for the Austral Monsoon team in Carole Park, QLD. You will manufacture timber and metal doors and louvers for commercial and residential projects, with training and support provided to help you succeed.

Day shift, full time role with overtime opportunities. You will operate beam saws, routers, CNC machines, and braking/ cutting equipment, and must read workshop drawings and follow specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in sheet metal work or equivalent.
• Welding experience is required.
• Ability to read a tape measure, level, and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and adjust components using hand and power tools.
• Operate sheet metal machinery and welding equipment.
• Read and interpret workshop drawings and specifications.
• Fabricate profile lengths using bending/cutting machinery.
• Identify material types and thicknesses.
• Conduct quality control on own work.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation.
