Job summary

Excel Recruitment is seeking reliable Sheet Metal Workers for a well-established manufacturing company in Blacktown, NSW. You will join a team assembling products with hand and power tools, reading blueprints, and maintaining quality and safety in a busy workshop.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly, manufacturing, production, factory work or warehousing.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• A strong work ethic with a reliable and punctual attitude.
• Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks.
• Full Australian working rights.
• A current driver's licence and reliable transport.
• Availability to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Assembling products using a range of hand and power tools.
• Using drills, impact drivers, screwdrivers and other workshop tools.
• Measuring, marking and marking out sheet metal and steel components accurately using a tape measure and other measuring tools.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings and measurements to ensure accurate marking, cutting and assembly of metal products.
• Drilling, fastening and working with various metal components.
• Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
• Packing, labelling and moving products throughout the production process.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment.
