Job summary

Unknown, an architectural sheet metal manufacturing company located in Thomastown, seeks a reliable, hands-on Process Worker to join the workshop floor and keep production moving. The role involves direct floor work, handling sheet metal, and supporting machine operators and fabricators.

You will be on a physically demanding workshop floor, with responsibilities ranging from loading and unloading with a forklift to deburring and packing finished products. CNC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Forklift license is essential.
• Experience in sheet metal, engineering, or heavy manufacturing is a plus.
• Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
• Right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery trucks and move sheet metal stock with a forklift.
• Manually handle, lift and sort sheet metal parts.
• Load material into and unload parts from manufacturing machinery (punch presses, lasers, guillotines).
• Deburr and clean metal components as required.
• Pack, strap and wrap finished products for transport.
• Assist tradespeople and machine operators with workshop duties.
