Job summary

Temperzone Limited in Sydney is seeking an experienced Process Worker – Sheet Metal / Machine Operator for our Blacktown site. You will operate sheet metal machinery to cut, bend and form aluminium components used in manufacturing.

This hands-on role requires previous machine operation experience with sheet metal or aluminium, reading drawings, and a safety-focused approach. Afternoon shift hours are 1:30pm–10:00pm Monday to Thursday and 11:00am–5:00pm Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in sheet metal or aluminium manufacturing.
• Ability to read drawings and measurements.
• Experience operating sheet metal machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Commitment to safe work practices.
• Reliable transport and Australian work rights.
• Forklift/hoist experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor sheet metal machinery.
• Cut, bend and form sheet metal and aluminium components.
• Match jobs and drawings with machine programs.
• Measure dimensions and adjust as needed.
• Change tooling and ensure correct tooling and drawings are used.
• Monitor machine performance and respond to breakdowns.
• Perform TPM activities.
• Organise work queues and load raw materials.
• Move finished components to the next production stage.
• Follow safety and environmental requirements and raise concerns.
