Job summary

Pacific Energy is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our manufacturing team in Kewdale, WA. You will fabricate aluminium and steel enclosures, frames and skids for renewable power systems across Australia.

Based in a modern facility, you’ll work a 38-hour week on a Monday–Friday roster, performing MIG and TIG welding, CNC laser cutting, and press brake operations, while mentoring apprentices and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Sheet Metal Working) or Boilermaking/Welding.
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
MIG welding essential; TIG welding an advantage.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble aluminium and steel enclosures, frames and skids per drawings.
Review drawings and provide mark-ups when needed.
Perform MIG and TIG welding with high precision.
Operate CNC laser cutting to tolerance; use press brakes for forming.
Mentor apprentices and junior team members.
Uphold safety and quality standards in all activities.
