Job summary
Sheet Metal Solutions NSW, a 100% Australian-owned family business based in Riverstone, specialises in precision sheet-metal manufacturing including laser cutting, CNC bending, rolling and fabrication. We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Tradesman / Fabricator to join our growing team.
This hands-on workshop role involves MIG and TIG welding, fabrication of components and assemblies, interpreting technical drawings, saw cutting, drilling and finishing, working with mild steel, stainless
Qualifications
- Experience in sheet-metal fabrication and finishing.
- Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Experience with MIG and TIG welding.
- Familiar with laser-cut components, CNC bending and rolling.
- Able to work accurately, independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- MIG and TIG welding on sheet metal.
- Fabrication of sheet-metal components and assemblies.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Saw cutting, drilling and tapping.
- Deburring and finishing work.
- Working with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
- Assisting with bending, rolling and other sheet-metal processes as required.
