Woodhouse Timber Company is seeking a Shed Hand to join our Marsden Park, NSW team. The role focuses on warehouse support, light-weight product processing, and paired picking with an Early start - Early finish.

The position requires fitness for repetitive lifting and movement. Applicants with warehouse pick & pack experience are encouraged; a Forklift Licence will be highly regarded. Report to the warehouse supervisor.

• Uphold and abide by Woodhouse Timber’s safety management system.
• Pick, strap and wrap lightweight orders in a timely, efficient manner working in pairs.
• Read and understand customer orders clearly.
• Maintain legible handwriting for order accuracy.
• Keep designated work area clean and tidy.
• Assist in cleaning communal areas.
• Follow stock procedures as directed by the warehouse supervisor.
• Undertake additional duties as required by your warehouse supervisor or management.

THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a Shed Hand to join our team in Marsden Park, NSW!

The Shed Hand position will provide support to the warehouse department of Woodhouse Timber Company. Processing Lightweight pre-finished products in an easy and clean warehouse picking environment. Shed Hands conduct simple aisle picking while working in pairs, processing small order picking with an Early start - Early finish.

This role places a strong focus on contributing to our vision of being fast, flexible and frequent. A reasonable level of fitness is required as this role requires repetitive twisting, bending, lifting, stretching and manual handling. You will report directly to the warehouse supervisor.

Applicants with warehouse pick & pack experience are encouraged to apply, and applicants with a Forklift Licence will be highly regarded.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

HIGHLY REGARDED

• Prior experience in order picking;
• Previous experience with manual handling roles; and
• RF scanning experience.
