The Recruitment Hive Pty Ltd is seeking a SharePoint intranet Designer for an Australian Government agency. You will design a modern, secure, user‑centred intranet, engage stakeholders to gather requirements, map user journeys, build scalable IA, and configure SharePoint Online with PowerShell to deploy sites, app bar, web parts and theming.

Our client, an Australian Government agency dedicated to keeping sport safe, fair and inclusive by addressing integrity threats such as doping, match-fixing, and member protection are looking for a SharePoint intranet Designer.

Duties of the SharePoint intranet Designer:

• Intranet must provide a modern, secure, and user-centred platform that enhances communication, collaboration, and content discovery across the agency
• Engage stakeholders (Communications, ICT, Security, business units) to gather requirements.
• Map user journeys and define content and usability needs.
• Design a scalable Information Architecture (IA), including hub sites, navigation, and taxonomy.
• Configure and build the SharePoint Online intranet (sites, app bar, web parts, theming via PowerShell).

Skills and Experience Required

• Experience within Developing accessible, user-friendly content.
• Implementing security, compliance, and access controls.
• Experience with Testing, deploying, and supporting rollouts of an intranet.
• You must provide documentation and training.
