Job summary

SG Fleet 2027 Internship Program – AI Stream is a six-month opportunity starting February 2027 at Pymble, NSW. You will develop prototypes and PoCs for GenAI-powered automation and analyse business processes to identify improvements.

You'll collaborate with teams to implement large language models, explore new GenAI technologies, and support commercial operations through data analysis, automation, and strategic research.

Qualifications

• Final year undergraduate student in 2027.
• Australian working rights or equivalent is required.
• Based at SG Fleet’s Sydney Head Office in Pymble, NSW with a move to North Sydney in April 2027.

About the Role

Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts for GenAI-powered automation by analysing business processes and identifying areas for improvement. Collaborate with teams to implement and refine large language models for specific tasks. In addition, support commercial operations through data analysis, automation, and strategic research

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the 2027 SG Fleet Internship Program, you must:

• Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or New Zealand citizen with full working rights
• Be in your final year of undergraduate study in 2027
• Be available to participate in the internship program based at SG Fleet’s Sydney Head Office in Pymble, NSW (with a move to North Sydney in April 2027)

What’s Next

This internship is open to final-year university students. You'll be based at SG Fleet’s Head office with easy access via train and our complimentary shuttle bus.
