Job summary

Nityo Infotech seeks an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud Solution Architect to lead design and delivery of scalable enterprise eCommerce platforms in Australia, based in Melbourne or Sydney.

You will own end-to-end SFCC architectures, drive integrations across OMS/ERP/PIM/CDP/Payments, explore Agentic Commerce patterns, and guide composable MACH strategies while mentoring delivery teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years in ecommerce technology, with 5+ years specifically architecting on Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFCC/Demandware)
• Proven track record leading full lifecycle SFCC implementations, from discovery through go-live and hypercare
• Strong hands-on knowledge of OCAPI/SCAPI, REST/SOAP integration patterns, and enterprise system integration (OMS, ERP, PIM, CDP, Payments)
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills, with experience presenting architecture to senior/executive audiences
• Experience with practices at an architectural governance level
• Demonstrated ability to mentor technical teams and drive architectural best practices across delivery

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture for SFCC implementations, including SFRA-based and composable/headless architectures
• Lead technical design workshops with clients/stakeholders
• Define integration architecture across the broader commerce ecosystem — OMS, ERP, PIM, CDP, Payments — via SCAPI/OCAPI and REST/SOAP APIs
• Architect the integration of Agentic Commerce capabilities into commerce platforms
• Provide architectural guidance on composable/MACH commerce strategies and platform decisions
• Make and document build-vs-buy recommendations balancing technical fit, cost, and roadmap
• Establish coding standards, architecture governance, and best practices across teams
• Mentor developers and consultants; review architecture and code at milestones
• Act as primary technical contact for client stakeholders and present trade-offs clearly
• Stay ahead of emerging commerce and AI trends and advise adoption strategies
