Job summary

The HR Ally is seeking an experienced Salesforce Communications Cloud Architect in Sydney to lead architecture and implementation across Telecom projects. You will design scalable solutions, work with Vlocity, and guide teams through the full Salesforce lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Salesforce Communications Cloud, deep Telecom industry knowledge, and hands-on experience with OmniStudio, APIs, and legacy CRM migrations. This permanent role is based in Sydney.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Salesforce Communications Cloud implementation experience.
• Strong understanding of the Telecommunications industry and business processes.
• At least one end-to-end Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) implementation, preferably in Telecom.
• Solid knowledge in CPQ, Order Management, EPC and CLM capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture and implementation of Salesforce Communications Cloud solutions.
• Design scalable solutions using Salesforce Industries / Vlocity for Telecom clients.
• Work across CPQ, Order Management, EPC, and CLM capabilities.
• Design and develop solutions using OmniStudio tools, including OmniScripts, DataRaptors, and Cards Framework.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the complete Salesforce implementation lifecycle.
• Design integrations and solutions using APIs, SOAP, REST, XML, and JSON.
• Support migration from legacy CRM/platforms to Salesforce Communications Cloud/Vlocity.
• Collaborate with business, functional, and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to development teams and ensure adherence to Salesforce architecture and best practices.

Role Overview

• 5+ years of hands‑on implementation experience with Salesforce Communications Cloud.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Strong Salesforce development knowledge across Apex, SOQL/SQL, Visualforce, JavaScript, XML, and JSON.
• Hands‑on experience with SOAP and REST APIs and Salesforce integrations.
• Experience leading or supporting legacy CRM/platform migration to Salesforce/Vlocity.
• Strong technical design, problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
