Job summary

XPT Software seeks an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer/Consultant to design, build, and optimise scalable eCommerce solutions. The role emphasises SFCC expertise with growing Agentic Commerce experience and exposure to Adobe Commerce or Sitecore.

The position is based in Melbourne or Sydney, offering involvement in high‑impact digital commerce transformation across diverse industries and collaboration with product and UX teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFCC/Demandware) experience.
• Experience with OCAPI/SCAPI, REST/SOAP web services and third-party integrations.
• Solid understanding of eCommerce business processes: catalog, pricing, promotions, checkout, order management.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement end-to-end eCommerce solutions on SFCC (SFRA/ SiteGenesis).
• Integrate SFCC with OMS, ERP, PIM, payment gateways, CDP via SCAPI/OCAPI and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Contribute to Agentic Commerce capabilities—AI agents, conversational commerce, autonomous shopping assistants, LLM-driven experiences.
• Support composable commerce architectures using Adobe Commerce or Sitecore where relevant.
• Collaborate with UX, QA, Business Analysts, and Product teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Optimize site performance, scalability, and SEO across platforms.
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipeline management, and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure platform stability.
• Stay current with emerging commerce technologies and AI trends.
