Job summary

XPT Software is seeking an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Architect to design and deliver scalable eCommerce solutions for clients in Australia. You will lead technical architecture, integrations, and solution design with hands-on SFCC experience.

Lead SFRA/SiteGenesis development, oversee API integrations (OCAPI/SCAPI, REST/SOAP), and guide teams on best practices. Exposure to headless, MACH, and Agentic Commerce is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience with Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFCC/Demandware).
• Strong experience with OCAPI/SCAPI, REST/SOAP APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Understanding of eCommerce processes including catalog, pricing, promotions, checkout, and order management.
• Experience designing scalable and high-performing eCommerce solutions.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and communicate with stakeholders.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end eCommerce solutions and technical architecture using SFCC (Demandware).
• Provide technical leadership across SFRA/SiteGenesis, storefront development, integrations, and customization.
• Design and oversee integrations between SFCC and OMS, ERP, PIM, payment gateways, CDP, and other systems using SCAPI/OCAPI and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Translate requirements into scalable, secure SFCC solutions.
• Guide development teams on architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
• Contribute to headless/composable commerce solutions.
• Provide guidance on Agentic Commerce including AI shopping assistants and conversational commerce.
• Collaborate with Analysts, Product, UX, QA, and other teams to deliver solutions.
• Review solutions and code for performance, security, and quality.
• Support production issues and platform optimization.
• Stay current with emerging eCommerce, Salesforce, and AI technologies.
