Job summary

Xpt Software Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Architect to lead the design of end-to-end eCommerce solutions and technical architecture using SFCC/Demandware. You will provide technical leadership across SFRA/SiteGenesis, storefront development, and integrations with ERP, PIM, OMS, and payment gateways.

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product, UX, QA, and other tech teams to deliver scalable, secure SFCC solutions, including headless and MACH-architecture approaches.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience with Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFCC/Demandware).
• Strong experience with OCAPI/SCAPI, REST/SOAP APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Good understanding of eCommerce processes including catalog, pricing, promotions, checkout, and order management.
• Experience designing scalable and high-performing eCommerce solutions.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and solution-design skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and define end-to-end eCommerce solutions and technical architecture using SFCC/Demandware.
• Provide technical leadership across SFRA/SiteGenesis, storefront development, integrations, and customisation.
• Design and oversee integrations between SFCC and OMS, ERP, PIM, payment gateways, CDP, and other third-party systems using SCAPI/OCAPI and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure and maintainable SFCC solutions.
• Guide development teams on architecture, coding standards, best practices, and technical decisions.
• Contribute to headless and composable commerce solutions where required.
• Provide technical guidance on Agentic Commerce, including AI shopping assistants, conversational commerce, and AI-driven commerce experiences.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Product, UX, QA, and other technical teams to deliver solutions.
• Review solutions and code to ensure performance, scalability, security, and quality.
• Support production issues, technical troubleshooting, and continuous platform optimisation.
• Stay current with emerging eCommerce, Salesforce, and AI technologies.
