Job summary

Spinifex Recruiting are seeking Labourers/Operators to join a locally trusted government infrastructure division responsible for maintaining sewer and stormwater assets across the region. This hands-on role blends civil construction, plant operation and maintenance, with a focus on safety and community service.

The role offers full-time hours with fortnightly RDOs, local site work, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil construction and plant operation across sewer, stormwater or utilities.
• Tickets and licences including excavator, HR/MR, confined space, working at heights and traffic control.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Civil construction and maintenance activities.
• Stormwater and drainage repairs.
• Sewer infrastructure maintenance.
• Operating plant and equipment.
• Excavation and trenching activities.
• Traffic management and site setup.
• General labouring and asset maintenance.
• Supporting emergency and reactive maintenance works.
• Working safely within a team environment.
