South East Water in Victoria is seeking a Sewer Maintenance Manager to lead the safe, efficient operation and maintenance of the sewerage network and trade waste compliance.

You will oversee maintenance programs, contractor delivery, and continuous improvement, while partnering with stakeholders and guiding a diverse team of technical and customer service professionals.

This role emphasizes safety, innovation and customer outcomes, with after-hours rosters and emergency response contributions.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
Significant experience in sewerage network operations, maintenance and asset management.
Proven leadership of multidisciplinary operational, technical and customer-focused teams.
Strong knowledge of sewerage network asset lifecycle management and associated operational practices.

Responsibilities

Lead safe, 24/7 sewerage network operations and maintenance.
Oversee maintenance programs and contractor performance.
Drive safety, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
