Zusammenfassung

Programmed Facility Management is seeking a Sewer Maintenance Technician based in Brooklyn on the Melbourne Water Contract. You will join a sewer maintenance crew, focusing on unblocking mains, responding to service requests, and servicing assets across Melbourne's CBD and western suburbs.

The role is primarily depot-based but field-oriented, with potential travel to various sites. You will work safely and independently, supporting project delivery and emergency response as required.

Qualifikationen

• Commitment to health, safety and environmental practices.
• Compliance with quality, safety and environmental legislation.
• Experience in wastewater industry preferred but not essential.
• Strong work ethic and teamwork.
• Ability to work on a rotating roster.
• Current Victorian manual driver's licence (HR/HC preferred).
• Experience working in deep excavations (>2.5 metres).
• Working at Heights training.
• Current Excavator, Confined Space Entry and relevant tickets.
• Up-to-date Hepatitis and Tetanus vaccinations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Aufgaben

• Repair and maintenance of sewer assets, including unblocking mains.
• Respond to customer service requests and carry out sewer maintenance tasks in Melbourne's CBD and western suburbs.
• Work predominantly in the field with occasional site-to-site work.
• Follow established procedures to ensure safety and quality.
• Participate in special projects and emergency response activities as needed.
