Job summary

Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is seeking a Social and Emotional Wellbeing Case Manager to deliver trauma-informed, client‑centred SEWB case management in Central Australia. You will provide advocacy, outreach and life skills support while coordinating access to Congress services for clients with complex needs in a culturally respectful framework.

The role requires Aboriginal identification, travel to remote communities, and strong collaboration with partners.

Qualifications

• Aboriginal identification required: must be of Aboriginal descent and accepted by the Aboriginal community.
• Experience providing trauma-informed, strengths-based case management to vulnerable clients.
• Knowledge of Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) principles and practice.
• Ability to foster collaborative partnerships with internal and external providers.
• Understand and maintain confidentiality in a health care setting and be culturally sensitive within the Aboriginal community.
• Awareness of Aboriginal culture and health factors in Central Australia.
• Current NT Driver's License or ability to obtain one.
• Willingness and fitness to travel to remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide SEWB case management including advocacy, outreach, skills development and life skills training.
• Coordinate interagency meetings and facilitate access to Congress services.
• Support clients with complex needs related to mental and physical health, AOD, family violence and justice system involvement.
