Job summary

Smartgroup in Sydney is seeking a Settlements Coordinator to support novated leasing processes from setup to post-settlement. You will liaise with customers, financiers, employers and dealers to ensure complete, compliant documentation and timely service delivery.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality and a structured, process-driven approach within an operations team dedicated to efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in finance, or compliance-based role.
• Proven Customer Service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with credit application processes or leasing documentation (preferred).
• Strong written communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment.
• Proficiency with internal systems and documentation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Support the credit application process for customers
• Support with setting up Novated Leasing accounts at post-settlement
• Liaise with customers, financiers, employers, and dealers to ensure documentation is complete and compliant as required
• Attend to both inbound and outbound customer calls and emails
• Monitor and follow up customer requests with internal stakeholders to ensure an efficient service delivery
• Ensure all data entry and system updates are accurate and aligned with compliance standards
• Collaborate with internal sales and operations teams to support seamless post-sale fulfilment
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all privacy and regulatory requirements
