Job summary

Corrections Victoria's Security and Emergency Services Group is seeking a Supervisor to lead a highly trained response team across security operations within Victoria's correctional system. You will oversee day-to-day management of specialist work areas and portfolios including chemical agents, firearms, canines, OH&S and HR.

This role involves shift work, weekends and public holidays, with travel across Melbourne and Geelong.

Qualifications

• Experience in safety or security roles.
• Physically capable for demanding duties.
• Strong teamwork, communication, leadership and accountability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of specialist work areas.
• Manage portfolios including chemical agents, firearms, canines, OH&S and HR.
• Lead working groups and project teams.
• Develop and review operational practices.
• Provide written reports to senior management.
• Support governance and continuous improvement.
