Job summary

SKIDATA in NSW is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our Field Service Operations team. You will deliver repairs, maintenance, and fault diagnosis on SKIDATA equipment across NSW, installing and commissioning new access systems while ensuring compliance with standards.

The role requires 2–3 years in service/installation, an Electrical/Mechanical/Advanced Electronics qualification, strong computer literacy, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in service, maintenance, or installation roles.
• Qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Advanced Electronics (or working towards one).
• Strong computer literacy and programming skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely repairs, preventive maintenance, and fault diagnosis on SKIDATA equipment and sites.
• Install, configure, and commission new access systems across NSW, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Accurately complete work orders, installation documentation, warranty forms, and parts management in ServiceNow.
• Act as a trusted client contact, providing technical advice and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintain high safety and equipment standards, reporting hazards promptly.
• Support clients across multiple sites to uphold quality and reliability.

What You'll Do

• OHS & Professionalism: Maintain high standards of safety, presentation, and equipment upkeep, while identifying and reporting hazards promptly.
• In this role, you'll be hands-on, supporting clients across multiple sites, while contributing to the quality and reliability that SKIDATA is known for globally.
