Job summary

Randstad Pty in New South Wales is seeking a trade-qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to service premium trailers and transport gear in a clean, undercover NSW workshop. You will diagnose faults, overhaul air and hydraulic systems, and rebuild brakes, suspensions, and wheel ends to top engineering specs.

You’ll work with proper lifting gear and up-to-date tooling, in a team that backs you to do the job right the first time.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
• Diesel Mechanic OR equivalent mechanical trade.
• 1 year experience required.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on servicing and preventative maintenance of premium heavy vehicle trailers and transport gear.
• Diagnose faults and repair heavy vehicle systems.
• Overhaul air and hydraulic systems.
• Rebuild brakes, suspensions, and wheel ends to top engineering specs.

Job description

Earn $45–$60/hr + Super plus regular overtime in a clean, modern NSW workshop with zero roadside grind. You’ll tackle hands on servicing, preventative maintenance, and mechanical repairs across premium heavy vehicle trailers and transport gear. We need a trade qualified or experienced tech to diagnose faults, overhaul air/hydraulic systems, and rebuild brakes, suspensions, and wheel ends to top engineering specs.

You’ll work with proper lifting gear, up to date tooling, and a straight shooting crew that backs you to do the job right the first time.
