Randstad, recruiting on behalf of an established manufacturer and supplier of heavy trailers and transport equipment in NSW, seeks an experienced Service Technician / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join their aftermarket team.

The role offers a stable workshop environment with clear direction, working closely with the Workshop Supervisor and Leading Hand to deliver high-quality servicing and maintenance. A strong team culture and commitment to safety underpin this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic.
• Experience with heavy vehicle, trailer, or transport equipment maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding ability, especially braking and suspension systems.
• Commitment to safety and WHS standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, and safety inspections on heavy vehicle trailers.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Replace and repair suspensions, braking systems, wheel-ends, and structural trailer components.
• Complete job cards, inspection logs, and service documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workshop footprint.
